Publication ethics are to ensure compliance of all ethical standards related to running the research and its publication. CPHE believes on the aims of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). CPHE adopts the following statement for guidelines on publication ethics.
1- Publishing Ethics for Editors and reviewers
1-1. Article assessment:
- All manuscripts are subject to double blind peer review
- When the reviewer or editor for any reason, such as a personal relationship or previous collaboration with the authors can not have an impartial evaluation, should not evaluate the article
2- Publishing Ethics for Authors
2.1. Plagiarism:
- The use of words, figures, or ideas of others is forbidden without attribution.
- All information should be cited where they are used
- Reuse of text must be limited and be attributed or quoted.
- High overlap with previous published and submitted articles is not permitted.
- Published articles will need correction or retraction whenever necessary.
2.2. Duplicate submission
- Only original content, i.e. manuscripts which have not been previously published, can be submitted to CPHE (except for abstract published in conferences not full papers).
- Simultaneous submission to CPHE and other journals is forbidden
- Manuscript that is under consideration in CPEH must be withdrawn before being submitted elsewhere.
- Use of own previously published or under review works by authors, as the basis for a submitted manuscript, is permitted when they cite the previous work and show how the submitted manuscript differs from the previous.
- Reuse of the authors’ own text outside the materials and methods section must be attributed or quoted in the text.
3.2. Redundant publication (inappropriate division of research results into more than one paper)
- Redundant publication may result in rejection, request to merge submitted manuscripts or correction of published papers.
4.2. Citation manipulation
- Submissions that their primary aim is to increase the citations of a given author’s or a particular journal, may incur sanctions.
5.2. Fabrication and falsification
- Submitted or published papers with fabricated or falsified results (Data making), including the manipulation of images, will be rejected or retracted and the authors may incur sanctions.
6.2. Authorship
- All authors should contribute significantly to the research
- Everyone who made a significant scientific contribution must be listed as author
- Author contributions can be shown at the end of the submission, optionally
- Changes in authorship must be notified to the journal after the written agreement of all authors (The Journal may disagree)
7.2. Acknowledgements

People who is not an author, but they have helped to carry out or write the research must be acknowledged with their permission.
8.2. Conflicts of interest (COIs, or competing interests)
º Note: It occur when subjects outside research can reasonably affect the neutrality, objectivity or assessment of the work. Conflicts include the Financial, Affiliations, Intellectual property, Personal, Ideology or Academic.

Submitted manuscripts with undeclared conflicts of interest that are later revealed may be rejected.

Published papers with undeclared conflicts may be re-assessed or even retracted
- If there is no Conflict of interest, it should be explained
- All conflicts of interest will be visible by the editor and reviewers and will be published in the paper

4. Other publishing ethics
4.1. Corrections and retractions
- Errors in published papers which are related to the authors may be corrected by a corrigendum and errors by the publisher by an erratum.

If the error has a significant effect on the research findings this may lead to retraction or an expression of concern following the COPE Retraction Guidelines.
- Violation of the rules and ethical publication principles of the CPHE leads to: 1- Rejection or retraction, 2- Not permission for submission for a certain period of time or forever and 3-Prohibition from activities such as being editor or reviewer.
